Expertini ATS — Frequently Asked Questions

The most common questions about plans, scoring, and how the ATS actually works.

A single page pulling together the questions asked most often across sales calls and support — organised by topic, with links to the full page for anything that deserves more depth than an FAQ answer.

01Plans and billing

All paid plans — Starter $11.99/mo through Enterprise $599.99/mo — include unlimited job postings and applications — the limits that differ by plan are CMS scores, AI prompts, Resume Score checks, and Hiring Tools count. Annual billing saves roughly 20% on every plan. A 14-day free trial with Basic-tier tool access is available with no card required.

02Scoring and AI

The Candidate Match Score (CMS) is a deterministic formula, not an AI-generated number — Gemini reads a CV and identifies evidence for each competency, then ordinary code computes the score from that evidence, so identical inputs always produce an identical result. See the CMS Solutions page for the full formula.

03CRM features

Candidate Relationship Management (talent pool database, keyword resume search, targeted messaging, surveys) is included on every plan. Customer Relationship Management (Client CRM — managing your own clients as a recruiting agency, with commission tracking and confidential postings) is available from Professional upward.

04Getting started

Sign up, publish your first job (unlimited on every plan), and it mirrors live to the matching country Expertini site within seconds — no separate job-board syndication fee. See the Help Center for a fuller orientation.

05Distribution and reach

Publishing writes your listing directly into the destination country's own job index — the same one powering that country site's search — rather than passing through a third-party syndication partner. The network spans country-specific platforms worldwide with 1.25M+ monthly visitors; remote-open roles additionally surface through remote.expertini.com with a deliberate relevance boost. Local roles can be gated to in-country applicants without losing in-market discoverability — the Hire Locally page covers when that's the right call. None of this carries a per-posting or per-click fee on any plan; the mechanics are walked through on Talent Sourcing.

06Data protection, briefly

Candidate PII is pattern-stripped before any AI reads a CV for scoring; application data deletes automatically after 24 months; organisation data is isolated per-tenant at the data layer; and payment cards live entirely inside Stripe. Candidates hold a right to human review of any decision an automated score influenced. The Privacy Policy and Security Center carry the full detail — this FAQ's job is to tell you those answers exist and where.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days with Basic-tier tool access, no card required.
Can two recruiters get different CMS scores for the same candidate?
No, given identical CV text and job description — the formula is deterministic.
Do job postings cost extra per listing?
No — publishing to the global network is included in every plan, with no per-posting or per-click fee.
What's the difference between Candidate CRM and Client CRM?
Candidate CRM manages the people you might hire (talent pool, messaging, surveys). Client CRM manages the companies you work for if you're a recruiting agency (their commission terms, confidential postings, reports).
What exactly counts against my monthly CMS budget?
Each application you score consumes one CMS credit; already-scored applications aren't re-charged, and bulk scoring skips them automatically. AI prompts (like job-description drafting) and Resume Score checks are separate budgets — three independent quotas, each shown as usage bars on your Billing page.
Can I cancel or change plans at any time?
Yes — plan changes adjust limits, not data. Jobs, candidates, pipeline history, and your talent pool persist across upgrades and downgrades alike.
Does the ATS auto-reject candidates below some score?
No, and it never will — scores order and explain, hard blockers flag, and every rejection is a human action. The ranking mechanics page shows exactly what happens between "Apply" and your shortlist.
We're a recruiting agency — where should we start reading?
The Client CRM FAQ for the client-management layer, then Recruitment Solutions for how the agency workflow runs day to day.
Who do I contact when something's actually broken?
The Support Center routes by problem type — billing sync, tool locks, and what details to include so the first reply is the fix.
