Our Mission
Why Expertini builds hiring technology the way it does.
Expertini's mission is to make hiring decisions that are explainable and reproducible — not because "transparent AI" is a good marketing line, but because a hiring decision affects someone's livelihood, and a decision no one can explain or reproduce is a decision no one can actually stand behind.
On this page
01Semantic, not keyword
A candidate's experience should be evaluated on what they actually did, not whether their CV happens to contain the exact words a recruiter searched for.
02Deterministic, not stochastic
Identical inputs should always produce an identical score — the CMS formula is published specifically so this claim is independently checkable, not just asserted.
03Humanistic, not automated-away
Every scoring tool on this platform is decision support that narrows a pool for human judgement — never a system positioned to make the hiring decision itself.
04The bridge we're actually trying to build
Strip away the tooling and hiring is two people trying to find each other: someone with real skills describing them in their own words, and someone with a real need describing it in theirs. Most of what's broken in recruitment is the translation layer between those two descriptions — keyword filters that punish honest vocabulary, black-box scores neither side can question, application processes that treat candidates as volume to be deflected. Expertini exists to be that bridge done properly: semantic matching so the two descriptions can find each other on meaning rather than luck, published scoring so both sides can see why a connection was or wasn't made, and a global network so the connection isn't limited by which job board someone happened to check. None of that removes the human decision — it clears the noise in front of it.
05What we won't build
A mission statement is also a list of refusals. We won't build automated rejection — a score here narrows attention, it never sends the no. We won't build personality inference, video-interview emotion analysis, or social-media scraping of candidates — categories with weak evidence and real capacity for harm, whatever their market demand. And we won't build a second, secret formula alongside the published one — the methodology in the paper is the methodology in the product, which is exactly what makes the commitments on the next page checkable rather than decorative. Product decisions get made against this list; when a requested feature conflicts with it, the feature loses.
