Subscription Refund Policy

01The policy

When you pay for a subscription period — a month or a year — that period is yours in full and is not refundable. Cancelling part-way through does not produce a pro-rata refund, and neither does simply not using the product during a period you paid for.

This applies to both monthly and annual plans, and to upgrades: if you upgrade mid-period and then cancel, the prorated upgrade charge is not returned either.

02Why it works this way

A subscription buys availability, not consumption. The seats, allowances and tools are provisioned and held for you for the whole period whether you sign in daily or not once — so refunding unused time would mean refunding something that was, in fact, supplied.

The trade-off is deliberate and we think it is a fair one: in exchange, there is no minimum term, no notice period, no cancellation fee, and no attempt to make leaving difficult. You are never locked into a period you have not already chosen to pay for.

03What IS refundable

Programmatic Job Ads clicks are refundable. That is a genuinely different product: you prepay for a quantity of clicks, and if they are not delivered you are refunded the undelivered balance at the rate you paid. Undelivered clicks are something you did not receive; an unused subscription month is something you did.

Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded. If you were billed twice, billed after cancelling, or billed an amount that does not match your plan, that is our error and we will correct it. Email [support@expertini.com](mailto:support@expertini.com) with the invoice number.

04The free trial exists for this reason

Every plan starts with a free 14-day trial — no card required, unlimited active jobs, every Hiring Tool unlocked. That is the point at which to decide whether Expertini suits you, and it is why we are comfortable being firm about refunds afterwards: nobody has to pay in order to find out.

If the trial did not give you enough to judge by, tell us before subscribing rather than after, and we will try to extend it.

05Your statutory rights

⚠️ Nothing on this page removes rights you have by law. Consumer protection legislation in some jurisdictions — including UK and EU distance-selling rules — grants cancellation and refund rights that a policy cannot override, and where those apply to you they take precedence over everything above.

Expertini ATS is sold to organisations rather than to consumers, so in most cases those rules do not apply. If you believe they apply to you, write to [support@expertini.com](mailto:support@expertini.com) and we will deal with it on the law rather than on this page.

06Disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs both sides a fee, and usually resolves more slowly than we can simply refund an error. We would rather fix a genuine mistake in a day than argue about it for a month.
